This is where we start to get more serious! By now you'll have a good handle on the clicker training method, ready to take your dog and your obedience training to the next level:
Duration: 6 weeks
Location: 9 Tripp Settlement Road (formerly Pye Canine Academy), Keswick Ridge, New Brunswick. [map]
This 8-week course not only challenges the dog with more exacting exercises, it trains you to become a good handler. At this level, we assume that you know the method of training, and now you have a chance to apply that technique. You will shape the exercises, breaking the behaviours down into small increments until you get the desired results:
Duration: 8 weeks
Location: Dogs Clicker School, 9 Tripp Settlement Road, Keswick Ridge, New Brunswick.
At the end of the Intermediate course, you will be prepared for the Novice level of obedience competition, where the dog can earn his Companion Dog title (CD).
Not interested in competition? Just imagine how well-trained your pet would be for everyday life and interactions with you, your friends and family! Regardless of what you want the training to accomplish, you'll be proud to own a well-trained dog!
